What's A Libertarian?
When I first started this blog back in 2005, the first set of postings dealt with defining the meaning of Libertarian. Now that the Democrats have selected their Presidential candidate and the Republicans will do so shortly, it might be a good time for a refresher. And, after we've been through a series of posts that deal with the tenants of Libertarianism, we'll assess the Libertarian "credentials" of the major party candidates.
So, "What's a Libertarian" you may ask? Aren't you the guys that think drugs should be legalized? And, while that may be one item on the Liberterian agenda, it certainly isn't the whole story.
The main point of Libertarianism is right there in it's name ... Liberty. Economic, Personal, and Property. As long as you're not interfering with the liberty of others, the government should leave you alone.
